Adventure In Bali

This June, my family and I decided to go to Bali for the summer vacation. It was the perfect time because it was also summer’s time in Bali and we get to travel without any rain. Traveling, while it’s raining, is a big no-no because you won’t be able to enjoy the beaches and mountains that Bali had to offer for us.

Anyway! We went to many places in Bali and we had so much fun, so I decided to share it with you guys in this article.

Pantai Kuta

The first place that I went to the first time I landed in Bali was Pantai Kuta at Kuta, of course! If you have the chance to go to Bali, make sure you go to Pantai Kuta because it is one of the most favorited places by the tourists. In Pantai Kuta, you can see beautiful waves, sand that can stretch for miles and miles, drink delicious coconut water, and you could even try surfing there!

Be careful of the tourists though, usually when it is near the sunset, Kuta Beach would be very crowded, but it is not going to be super packed until you cannot move, so it will be tolerable. Just make sure you come early and secure a seat near the shoreline!

I visited the Kuta Beach right when the sun is about to set, so the view is so breathtaking. Above is the picture that I managed to take from the infamous Kuta Beach that I managed to took.

Tanah Lot

The next place that I recommend is Tanah Lot. Tanah Lot is a temple that is located at the sea, and it is truly a beautiful place to visit. You could go to the temple when the tides are not high, and you can get to see inside the temple. Unfortunately, I went to Tanah Lot when the tides are high, so I can’t go inside the temple, but I still got an amazing view of it!

In Tanah Lot, there are usually stalls that sell clothes for the locals and tourists, and they are usually cheap, as long as you can bargain because usually, they sell the tourists a higher price than the locals.

Not only that, but Tanah Lot also offers a lot of other attractions, like seeing the “Holy Snake” in a nearby cave, not for the weak hearted though! Not only that, but across the Tanah Lot, you can eat in cafes that are directly facing the Tanah Lot where you can see the amazing view, but you have to climb up a couple of steps because it’s on top of a hill.

Ubud

The next place that I recommend is Ubud. There are so many things to do in Ubud, like visiting the Sacred Monkey Forest, see beautiful rice fields, go window shopping, waterfalls, eat delicious gelato, and many many more!

In Ubud, you can see temples dating 400 years back, and you could visit Pasar Ubud, where you could buy cultural Bali stuff for a cheap price (again, as long you can bargain).

Ubud is a very big place and not as specific as the Kuta Beach or Tanah Lot, so you could visit a lot of places in Ubud. I might just say the Tegenungan waterfalls that I visited is one of the best places I’ve ever visited in Ubud, it is a beautiful mix of calmness and nature, although going down to the waterfall might take some effort because it is so far down.

That is it for my Bali blog post, I really enjoyed the time I had with my family and me in Bali, and I hope you enjoyed my article! See you on my next trip.
